Adrianna is currently completing her undergraduate degree in International Development Studies in the Faculty of Arts at McGill. Focusing on the economic stream of her program, she is highly interested in how and why change happens. That is definitely something that has guided her in her choices as well as her involvement with the ATTSVE project.
Adrianna Lemieux is originally from Montreal and lived in the German part of Switzerland during her last three years of high school, after which she came to McGill. In high school, she took part in Model United Nations (MUN) and the student government. This followed her into university, where she continued to be involved in MUN on a competitive and organizational level. Her other interests include travelling in order to meet incredible people from diverse backgrounds, as well as to discover other languages and cultures.
Adrianna’s role with the ATTSVE project was to evaluate current available English language resources, conduct focus group interviews as well as individual interviews with students and instructors in order to produce a comprehensive report outlining the english language resources available and those expressed to be needed. She has additionally integrated her internship experience with an international development class, in which she reviewed language and institutional change of Ethiopia’s educational system.
